Liking it...

The past two weeks have seen some nice comfortable and 'happy' days...Becky has had a little spring in her step-shuffle.  Our regular visit showed some good numbers and that certainly helps.  We are still having to administer a shot nightly for the blood clot reduction...and this appears to be the case for the next two months.  Dr. Snyder said it was a large clot. OUCH.. so we gotta make sure this 'big kahuna' gets reduced and eventually banished!  Becky's platelets have decreased over the past two weeks, but we think mainly due to this new med..The Dr. was not too worried about the platelet decrease...
But again, Becky has been feeling relatively good.  She's doing a few more chores around the house.  She cooked a wonderful stew with other day, and she even ate out for the first time!  A few tacos..it was liberating!  BUT, BUT,  this new liberation will proceed with caution.  Foods can sometimes wreak a little havoc on her system.  She does not have the strength to negotiate over two or three steps or walk 20 or so yards without some fatigue, but we know this will come, especially as the meds are reduced, namely the prednisone.  So it's still the wheelchair, but we are still rejoicing at seeing the progress recently made!

Thank you so much for your prayers.  We truly know many of you have been praying for us.
We thank the Lord for all of you...He of course is the great intercessor..and knows what we need before we even think or pray it, and though we have been very discouraged and downtrodden to the point of not knowing what to pray, we know He has been there.  We just know it.   We know many of you have hurts and difficult circumstances...we encourage you to know there is hope in Him..there really is.

Much Love to you all..and we encourage you all to have a little fun or at least break the routine, even when life keeps shooting the arrows of deep and hurtful issues...just chew about 6 pieces of bubble gum, or sing a song at the top of your lungs and let the whole world hear it, well maybe just let your car steering wheel hear it...!  :)+=

Celebrate Life!
