Went out Sunday PM for a little shopping...Becky did great again. When we got home I heard her whistling in the kitchen...and she can whistle with precision. She can exert some good melody..It was so pleasing to hear.. so comforting. Haven't heard her whistle for quite some time..
Had a pretty good past few days also. Still doing the nightly IV..lasts about 45 minutes. Pill intake still a small pharmacy, but she manages quite well with daily routine. Of course, overall weakness still an issue, but she gets around the house with relative ease. A boost lately has been Abbey enjoying her first high school year, so far. Hope it continues...

ReplyDeleteYeah whistling and chores and shopping, sounds almost normal!!! Wish I could whistle. don't think I'll try the getting sick to see if I can do it when I am better routine though. Take care all of you and yes I remember to enjoy the day no matter how crazy or how mundane. Every time I am doing a routine mundane task I think but what would I feel like if I COULDN"t do it and then I stop whining in my head. Love you all.

Becky and I grew up with whistling. Aunt Ruth had a killer vibrato and my dad did the scat-type of whistle. So glad the whistling is back!
